Prophets
PROPHETS come in all shapes and sizes. They tend not to wear flowing robes or dress like John the Baptist nowadays.
Not everyone calling themselves a prophet are one. But they are around, and in our midst and very often, they can see you clearly!
One thing that is very clear to most when it comes to the prophetic ministry, is the need for some kind of reform – drawing and bringing the entire so called ‘prophetic movement’ back to real and authentic biblical practices. God is still speaking today.
The great reformer Martin Luther, recognised a problem that exist to this day regarding the prophets,
So what can you expect from a prophet?
Are they infallible? Can they hear from God on demand? Do they all eat angel cake? How can you tell if your best friend is a prophet? Do they all have dreams and visions? Can they really tell the future?
Do they really see the sin in your life? Do they know what stocks to invest in? Are they more prone to temptation? Can they walk through walls? Do they really talk to angels? Can they time travel?
I don’t have the answers to all of the questions you have, but will have a good try.
